The Men Who Stare At Goats

It is parody of the military and its rules and structure. It is about the extravagant lengths to which the military and intelligence establishments will go if they think there’s a payoff at the other end.

The movie is uneven. There is not much of a story here and it gets episodic. The humor also fades a little in the second half when it tries to address the serious issuses.

But with a starcast like that, you don’t go haywire even if you want to. George Clooney, Jeff Bridges (bringing his Big Lebowski dude back), Ewan McGregor, Kevin Spacey and Robert Patrick give brilliant performances.

And a climax to die for!
