Up In The Air

Watching ‘Up In The Air’ for me became tough. I normally don’t shed tears watching a movie. But I just couldn’t control myself. Why? I went through the same drill a year back. Talk about Deja Vu!

Any film where the lead female actor tells to her male counterpart, “Think of me as yourself, only with a vagina.” is special.

The movie is three things combined – perfect casting, brilliant writing and flawless direction. The masterstroke however is to begin and end ‘Up in the Air’ with interviews of the recently downsized, real-life people. It makes the movie the most topical drama to release last year.

Super Highly Recommended!!!!!

The White Ribbon

This is the third time I watched this film in 10 days. I just can’t get it out of my mind. This movie is a proof that a simple narrative without almost a single scene of violence can be so eerie and haunting.

Michael Haneke is a master in probing the hidden evil behind our well-ordered lives. His films never give solutions. Instead they ask big questions. Questions that linger in the mind for long.

Must Watch!
